நல்ல வழியால் ஆராய்ந்து அருளுடையவர்களாக விளங்க வேண்டும்; பலவழிகளால் ஆராய்ந்து கண்டாலும் அருளே வாழ்க்கைக்குத் துணையாக இருக்கும்.

நல்லநெறியில் வாழ்ந்து, நமக்கு உதவும் அறம் எது என ஆய்ந்து, அருளுடன் வாழ்க; எல்லாச் சமய நெறிகளால் ஆய்ந்தாலும் அருளே நமக்குத் துணையாகும்.

பலவழிகளால் ஆராய்ந்து கண்டாலும் அருள் உடைமையே வாழ்க்கைக்குத் துணையாய் விளங்கும் நல்வழி எனக் கொள்ளல் வேண்டும்
Meaning (English)
Stand) in the good path, consider, and be kind. Even considering according to the conflicting tenets of the different sects, kindness will be your best aid, (in the acquisition of heavenly bliss.)
